After four successful events in Yarram, Traralgon, Foster and Seaspray in November, Gippsland’s offshore wind projects are back at four new locations in March.
Port Albert: Wednesday 12 March 2025 at 4–6 pm, Port Albert Mechanics Institute
Golden Beach: Thursday 13 March 2025 at 4–6 pm, Golden Beach Community Centre
Sale: Saturday 22 March 2025 at 10 am – 2 pm, Nakunbalook, Sale Botanic Gardens
Leongatha: Thursday 27 March 2025 at 4–6 pm, Leongatha Memorial Hall.
The Gippsland Offshore Wind Alliance said the events are an opportunity to learn more about offshore wind energy, upcoming project plans, long-term opportunities and to share feedback.
Led by Gippsland Climate Change Network and Committee for Gippsland, the Alliance aims to provide a local platform for collaborative action to create an offshore wind industry that benefits Gippsland.
Alliance Co-Chair, Darren McCubbin encouraged the Gippsland community to get involved.
“This is a one-stop shop, so you can go to one event and get the information you need about the projects that are of interest to you.”
