Clean Economy Workforce Transition Framework

TAFE Gippsland launched the Clean Economy Workforce Transition Framework for Gippsland project, which explores and outlines the key steps involved for workers working in traditional energy production into renewables.
The project aim was to explore the opportunities and build training and transition pathways for industries and individuals who want to stay in the energy sector and transition into clean energy.

The Australian Renewables Academy (ARA) was established by a group of local Gippsland businesses and stakeholders with the philosophy that collaboration drives innovation.

First Nations Clean Energy Network - Jobs Pathway Initiative

The First Nations Clean Energy Network Clean Energy Job Pathways Initiative aims to identify clear pathways for quality jobs and careers for First Nations Australians in the clean energy sector by developing a First Nations Clean Energy Jobs Strategy.

Federation University – New energy training

Federation University is actively working with industry to design industry relevant courses for new energy jobs. They have developed an Asia Pacific Renewable Energy Training Centre (APRETC) in Ballarat to support wind energy training and they are working to activate relevant training in Gippsland.

The Gippsland Tech School is committed to challenging students to take charge of their learning. Schools from the Gippsland region are able to access cutting edge technology and connect to local industry partners, focusing on Food and Fibre, Health, New Energy and Advanced Manufacturing.
